1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible ~63k Miles

For sale is my 1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible with approximately 63k original miles. This car has showroom potential with zero structural rust and excellent mechanical condition.

I have owned this car for about a year and originally purchased it from an estate sale with the intention of perfecting it. Shortly after purchasing it, I found an 86 SPG (pictured in the background) that I did not expect to find and could not pass on. That said, the 88 convertible has to go. Mechanically, this vehicle is solid, but it does need a little cosmetic work.

Recent Work

• Used Car Inspection - I had Swedish Auto Services in Novato, CA look over the entire car in April and fix a few small issues like an electrical short. I did this for my own peace of mind and so you have no surprises.

• Oil Change & Brake Fluid Flush

• New Plugs & Wires - NGK BCP7ES

• New Outside Window Scrapers

Known Issues / Concerns

• CV Boots - Need replaced.

• Odometer - Stopped working around 61k miles, I've put about 1500 on it.

• Oil Cooler Lines - Small leak from the oil cooler lines on the cooler end.

• Cosmetic Stuff

  • Dashboard Fascia - Aftermarket fascia has a few imperfections

  • Dashboard Cracks - Obviously a common issue with Saabs

  • Paint Overspray - Small section of overspray near the gas tank, see the last 2 images in gallery.

  • Hood/Trunk Emblems

  • Dash Lights Need Replaced

  • A few minor dings, etc..

Note: Aero wheels are not included. Comes with SPG wheels.
